• The Wet Hire of Crew and Equipment for an Overlay of 600 tonnes of special sand and bitumen mix specifically for under circular fuel tanks.
   

SCOPE OF WORKS:

Asphalt Paving Crew

• 1 x Asphalt Paver (4850mm Laying Width)
• 1 x Digital Averaging Beam / slope sensors / matching shoe
• 1 x Bobcat / Bucket & Broom
• 1 x 3T Smooth Drum Roller
• 1 x 3T Multi-Tyre Roller
• 7 x Man Asphalt Crew
• 1 x Asphalt Crew Supervisor

Note

This was quite challenging to lay, as the product was only able to be heated to 120 degrees. It was made from sand & bitumen which created the need to change the actual geometry of the paver to be able to lay because the product had no body to it. (It was like jelly consistency).
